How does the 15-Minute Conversation Guarantee work?
Important: this guarantee doesn't apply to all course tiers. Currently, it only applies to the "Full" and "Intensive" Tiers of the Spring Spanish Challenge. Read on to find out if the guarantee applies in your case.
Our courses are designed to make you speak. And if you’re taking any of our courses that include conversation classes, we even guarantee that by the end of the course you’ll have a 15-minute conversation. This is a commitment from our side, but one that also requires commitment from your side. Here’s how it works:
- You have to take the course and all aspects of it entirely as laid out by us. That means:
- You use and finish all the course materials (flashcards, learning materials, weekly lessons)
- You come to all the group Q&A calls
- You show up at all your conversation classes
- You fill out your progress tracker every day (yes, every day) for 12 weeks
- You take part in all the writing exercises
- You’ve completed the masterclasses
Then, at the end of the 12 weeks, you can sign up for a 15-minute conversation with one of our tutors, on a topic of your choice, entirely in Spanish…
If you succeed, you’ll be induced in our “ Spring Languages Hall of Fame”.
If you’re a complete beginner, you can choose an easier topic and you’ll still make some mistakes of course. But you won’t revert to English. You’ll speak entirely in Spanish.
If you’re a more advanced student, you set the bar higher and try to speak about a more complex topic that interests you in Spanish. You can prepare and practice these conversations during your classes with our tutors as well throughout the Challenge.
The point is: you’ll prove to yourself that you can hold an entire conversation in Spanish, no matter your level.
The Guarantee
Now, if after 12 weeks you've filled out your worksheet every day, you've put in the work, came to the live calls and completed the lessons, here's what's likely to happen: you’ll find it pretty easy to speak in Spanish throughout the whole conversation!
You’ll pass easily. You’ll pat yourself on the back. You’ll look back on this moment, 12 weeks ago, when you decided to take your Spanish studies seriously, and think: “Wow, look at me now, 12 weeks later, speaking in Spanish for a whole conversation! An intensive, individual crash course, to get you up to speed and get you speaking Spanish NO MATTER WHAT. This basically guarantees you'll speak fluent Spanish (especially since you've also done 90 days of conversation based chunking with our lessons before).
IMPORTANT: All students get the chance to take the 15-minute conversation test, but the guarantee itself doesn’t apply to all our courses. If it applies to your course, you’ll have clearly seen it on your enrolment page. Usually, the main criterion for the guarantee to apply is that you’ve bought a package that includes conversation classes.
